In 2017, employees at a local manufacturing company realized that the production process for leather goods left behind a large amount of remnant leather. If the manufacturers didn’t have an immediate use for it, this beautiful material ended up in a landfill. Looking for a solution to this ecological problem, these employees developed our loop keychain. The keychain grew a loyal community of customers, which then encouraged these employees to expand the product line. That’s when Northwind was born. Northwind prioritizes sustainability by selling products made from high-quality upcycled leather.

Our studio is equipped with both modern and classic equipment that allow us to apply our full spectrum of skills into our craft.
